Metro Parks, MSD to partner on work along Beargrass Creek
An effort to create enhanced wetlands along Beargrass Creek may impact users of the Beargrass Creek Greenway trail over the next few weeks. The 1.3-mile paved off-road path for pedestrians and cyclists connects the intersection of Grinstead Drive and Lexington Road to Locust Street near Spring Street.

Mayor, Congressman Honor Veterans at VA Hospital
Mayor Jerry Abramson and Congressman John Yarmuth greeted veterans at the VA Hospital this afternoon and urged citizens to thank veterans for their service. Veterans’ Day will be observed tomorrow, and Abramson announced that the bells on city buildings will toll 11 times at 11 a.m. to commemorate the holiday.

Public Health and Wellness to Offer Free Yoga at the Center for Health Equity
The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness will offer free yoga classes every Thursday (except Thanksgiving) from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. November 13 to December 18 at the Center for Health Equity located at 2422 W. Chestnut Street. Classes are open to the general public and to those of all ability levels.
