Construction on Fleur de Lis on Main, Downtown Louisville’s premier new condominium home development, began today at 324 East Main Street.
Located at the corner of Preston and Main in the heart of Louisville’s newest urban neighborhood, Fleur de Lis on Main offers a more sophisticated alternative to downtown living. The five-story, new construction building will have 82 elegant condominium homes with seventeen different floor plans ranging from 1000 – 2000 square feet. The mixed-use development will feature a stunning street-level lobby and adjoining historical gallery which celebrates the property’s unique corner location and neighborhood, as well as store-front retail and commercial space along both Preston and Main. Two gracious and inviting courtyards with water elements and greenery will create a sense of community and an intimate environment while the rooftop terrace will offer remarkable views of the Ohio River.
“Fleur de Lis on Main will be the cornerstone of downtown development in terms of elegance, quality and level of detail,” said Dale Boden, Partner in Fleur de Lis Development LLC. “We are very excited about this project and the impact it will have on East Main Street.”
Each home will offer superior construction quality and best-in-class custom interior finishes including high-end kitchens and baths. Comprehensive allowance packages will allow the individual owners to select the design and amenities that best suit their needs, including choices in fixtures, countertops, cabinets, appliances, carpet, fireplace surround, bookshelves and more. In addition, each home will have a private balcony with either a street or courtyard view and each unit will feature floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area offering incredible natural light.
Fleur de Lis on Main will provide secure underground parking, an entertainment room and a state-of-the-art fitness facility for residents. Homes start at $240,000.
“Fleur de Lis on Main is a welcome addition to the housing boom in the East Market and Main District and demonstrates the growing demand for urban living,” said Mayor Jerry Abramson. “Louisville Slugger Field has been the catalyst for a dramatic transformation in this area, spawning galleries, restaurants, housing and nightspots.”
Fleur de Lis Development LLC, the development team behind this project, is comprised of Dale Boden, David Bowen, Henry Potter and Phil Scherer, all long-time advocates of East Main Street development. Dale Boden, Henry Potter and Phil Scherer developed Billy Goat Strut at 600 East Main Street in 1986 and Preston Pointe at 333 East Main Street in 2004.
